Superyacht Interiors coffee table book

Published annually by BOAT International Media, the prestigious coffee table book Superyacht Interiors celebrates the people, projects, and ideas shaping the world of luxury yacht design. Combining editorial features, designer profiles, and carefully integrated brand stories, the publication required a visual approach that felt both sophisticated and immersive.

Working alongside the Creative Director, I helped shape the look and feel of the book from page to page, translating complex editorial content into elegant, considered layouts.

Beyond the printed publication, I extended the visual language into a social media marketing campaign, creating a suite of digital assets that captured the book's aspirational aesthetic and generated anticipation around its release.

My role

BOAT International Magazine

The Voyage section of BOAT International offers readers a curated guide to the world's most exceptional destinations, experiences, and discoveries.

As Principal Designer, I led the editorial design of the section each month, shaping a visual experience that felt both sophisticated and transportive. Every layout was crafted to reflect the elegance and exclusivity synonymous with the BOAT International brand.

Working closely with the picture researcher and section editor, I translated diverse editorial content into a cohesive visual language. Whether designing concise news pages, curating image-led hotel roundups, or creating considered layouts for restaurant and spa reviews, the challenge lay in balancing editorial clarity with a refined, high-end aesthetic that invited readers to linger on every page.

My role

- Principal designer for the monthly Voyage section

- Collaboration with the picture researcher to source and curate impactful imagery

- Close partnership with the section editor to enhance storytelling through design

- Maintaining a cohesive visual identity aligned with BOAT International's luxury aesthetic

The result was a consistently elevated travel section that complemented the wider magazine while offering readers an inspiring window into the destinations, experiences, and craftsmanship that define contemporary luxury travel.

The Superyachts

Published annually, BOAT International Media’s flagship coffee table book, The Superyachts, offers a definitive snapshot of the global superyacht industry. Featuring in-depth editorial features, striking yacht profiles, and the highly anticipated Top 200 yacht roundup, the publication demanded a design approach that balanced authority with aspiration.

Working alongside the Creative Director, I helped shape the visual identity of the book from cover to cover, transforming complex editorial content into elegant, engaging layouts. From establishing clear typographic hierarchies to curating impactful imagery and pacing each section, every spread was crafted to capture the scale, innovation, and craftsmanship that define the world's most exceptional yachts.

Country & Town House Magazine

Country & Town House is a leading luxury lifestyle magazine, renowned for its coverage of culture, interiors, travel, fashion, and society. With a discerning readership and a reputation for elegant storytelling, each issue demanded a meticulous approach to both design and production.

As Editorial and Production Designer, I worked closely with the Creative Director to shape the magazine from cover to cover, ensuring every page reflected the publication's refined aesthetic and editorial vision.

Alongside the design process, I oversaw the production workflow, carrying out pre-flight checks and preparing artwork for print to ensure each issue was delivered to press accurately and on schedule. Collaboration was central to the role, requiring close communication with editors, the advertising department, and external stakeholders. When advertising assets were unavailable, I also designed bespoke commercial advertisements that aligned seamlessly with both the brand partner's objectives and the magazine's visual identity.

The Hot List is BOAT International's curated edit of the most exciting openings, destinations, and experiences shaping the world of luxury travel.

As Principal Designer, I was responsible for the editorial design of this recurring feature, creating layouts that captured the energy of discovery while maintaining the sophistication and refinement synonymous with the BOAT International brand. The challenge was to present a wealth of recommendations in a way that felt both aspirational and effortless to navigate, balancing rich visual storytelling with clear editorial structure.

Working closely with the picture researcher and editorial team, I curated imagery and crafted dynamic page compositions that brought each destination to life.
